Welcome to the art of Sarah Katherine Woolley

Sarah, a native Oregonian, has been an artist for most of her remembered life. She most notably recalls her artist-for-a-mother teaching her to draw at age five. Since then, she has attended numerous art classes throughout her life in drawing, painting, sculpture, photography, and more. In addition to artistic skills, Sarah has a passion to help tell the stories of the disadvantaged, from all parts of the world. She discovered this in 2007 when she spent the entire year in a Christian apprenticeship ministry called NieuCommunities in Pretoria, South Africa. She discovered by the end of the apprenticeship that God was calling her to make a deeper commitment in following him by choosing an inherently missional lifestyle and joining the NieuCommunities staff. This decision marks the beginning of a new chapter in her life, one about which she's quite excited. In the meantime, as Sarah is back in Portland, OR, raising financial and prayer support for 2008 and beyond, she has a lot of "leftover art" that she would love for others to enjoy.
